The City of Revelation, Inc. Biblical Theme Park will communicate events from Genesis to Revelation via multimedia such as exhibits, film, virtual reality, attractions, drama, dance and music. The general theme is the Bible and the City of Revelation's portrayal of Genesis and the fall of Adam and Eve to what it may be like in the New Jerusalem. Between these two realities, we will portray what happens to the people of God when they obey and when they disobey His Word. Visitors will receive a message similar to the following; “You are invited to go through the portals and enter the City of Revelation. Begin your journey in an IWERKS 3D theater where you see the glory of God’s creative work unfold in the ‘Creation Story’. Proceed to the beautiful botanical Garden of Eden. Walk through the 350 foot long Noah’s Ark. Catch a glimpse of how they might have lived and worked. Approach the tower of Babel where one voice becomes many because they dared to challenge God. Journey with Abraham as he lives out his faith in God. See the destruction at Sodom and Gomorra because of their sins. Meet Jacob and Joseph. Examine their path as they experience God in supernatural ways and make their mark in Jewish history. Step into the shoes of Moses as he challenges Pharaoh to let the people go. See the 10 plagues, experience Passover and feel what it was like meeting the formidable wall of the Red Sea. Listen as Moses receives the 10 commandments from God Almighty on Mt. Sinai. Wander in the desert. Watch Moses give his mantle to Joshua and see the Ark of the Covenant cross the Jordan River into the Promised Land. Be there when Jericho’s walls come tumbling down! Proceed through the pages of the Bible to King David. Listen as he prays and sings the Psalms and beautiful love songs to the Lord. Hear the covenant that God makes with David. Walk through Solomon’s temple and be filled with wisdom. Walk with Jonah as God calls him to a pagan land with a commission he does not want. What does it feel like to be swallowed and in the belly of a large fish for 3 days? Then to be spit up on shore and have to walk through Nineveh proclaiming ‘repent or else’! Ride Ezekiel’s chariot of fire and exult in the awesomeness of God’s revelation as it circles the heavens. Stand with God’s servants as they are thrown into the pit with Daniel and the lions. What about Job, the man who experienced everything coming against him but survived? He not only survived because he would not condemn God, but he experienced restoration of what he had lost. Walk with us from there to the promise made in Genesis that a redeemer would be sent. Recognize the promised redeemer for the Christian world in the person of Jesus. Hear the Virgin Mary’s conversation with the angel Gabriel. Listen to John the Baptist as he calls for repentance then baptizes Jesus. Walk with Jesus as he is drawn into the desert. Look on with the wine stewards as He performed His first miracle at Cana. See an authentic Jewish wedding. Walk with Jesus to Samaria where He confronts the woman at the well yet does not condemn her but says, yes, I will preach in your town. I will tell you the good news. Move to the Sermon on the Mount, the Magna Carta for Christians. The beatitudes call us to live the Bible and love one another. Walk with Jesus as He continues His ministry. Board a boat and see Jesus coming out of the fog walking on the water. See the feeding of the 4,000 and be transfixed on the mount of Transfiguration where the glory of the Lord came down. Enter with Jesus into Jerusalem. Sit with Him in the upper room for the last Passover supper. Follow Him as He goes out into the garden of Gethsemane where He agonizes in prayer to His Father. Follow the story through the events into Pilate’s courtyard where Jesus is condemned. Follow Him through the crucifixion. Jesus is placed in a tomb but in 3 days he rose from the dead. Enjoy the glory of His resurrection. Listen to Jesus as He instructs the disciples on the road to Emmaus. Hear the great commission for men and women to go and spread the good news of love throughout the world. Walk further as Jesus says ‘do not leave the city before you are baptized with the Holy Spirit’. See Jesus ascend through the clouds to the right hand of the Father in a powerful display. Follow the Apostles, disciples and women to the upper room at Pentecost. Listen to Peter as he goes to Cornelius and the people of Jerusalem. Be there when Paul is converted. Then ride with Paul on the ship that would be wrecked on the way to Rome. Everyone on the ship survived intact. Come, ride with him and find out what Paul’s teachings were. And finally, when we get to the book of Revelation, we hear the final thoughts that God has a destination for us.” Copyright (c) 2004 City of Revelation, Inc.
